We specialize in assisting organizations in identifying small and large business opportunities. We work with clients to evaluate opportunities, assemble total solutions, locate, and contract with the team resources, establish partnership strategies as required, and finally develop the required proposal documents. Makwa Resourcing specializes in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from the Canadian Federal Government.

Commitment to Diversity

Makwa Resourcing Inc. is committed to building and fostering a fair and inclusive workplace which values diversity and encourages respect for dignity, beliefs, and ideas consistent with the principles outlined in the Ontario Human Rights Code (the “Code”), and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Makwa recognizes the value of identifying and removing barriers and promoting inclusion in the workplace.

Diversity is an important value of the organization, where each employee is respected and valued for their differences. Makwa is committed to enhancing workplace diversity and fostering a workplace that is representative of the resident population it serves. A diverse workplace benefits employees by allowing them to feel valued for their differences by the organization and creating opportunities for advancement. The organization is committed to identifying and removing barriers for diverse employees in recruitment, advancement, and retention. Historically, certain groups of people experience barriers to employment and are underrepresented in the workforce. These groups include persons with disabilities, racialized minorities, women, Aboriginal people. The selection of these groups does not preclude the possibility of addressing systemic discrimination for other underrepresented groups.

Makwa’s approach is to reach out to Indigenous partners and participate in various sectors that are part of the aboriginal community that offer skills and development training in support of aboriginal pathways to employment programs. We connect with First Nation reserves to offer opportunities and encouragement for the Indigenous Peoples through government funded programs for diversity and inclusion and given them the confidence for the future.

Our Net-Zero Emissions Commitment

Makwa Resourcing Inc. has committed to achieving net-zero Green House Gas emissions by 2050. Makwa’s commitment includes its Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions from all operations as a Stream 3 small- and medium-sized enterprise that is part of the Canadian Government’s Net-Zero Challenge.
